First of all I have taken a on-line tests, both English and the language I chosen to apply for. There was a simulation of two cases and also a personality test by the end. It all took me around an hour.
After theses tests, by the end of the same week I received an invitation to a phone interview with the HR Recruiter. She is very sweet person, got me very comfortable to speak with, she asked questions like: why did I apply for? Why do I leave in Amsterdam? Have I ever used Booking.com? What do I consider as a good customer service?
She also explained the position and asked about my availability to a flexible schedule, late shifts and working on holidays and weekends.
By the end of the call she already invited me to the group assessment. She sent an e-mail asking to bring some documents so I could prove I was legally resident in the Country and I had a valid working permit.
The group assessment took place one week later and there were 18 candidates for different languages.
All of the candidates have to introduce themselves and tell a favourite destination or a place they are willing to visit.
At the group assessment everybody took a 10-minute English test and another 10-minute test of the language we applied. The tests were grammar, vocabulary and interpretation of a piece of text. Pretty easy tests. After that we had to call to a CSE from our language and have a little conversation on the phone.
By the time the recruiters check the test results we had some breakfast and we listened to a company's presentation.
After the results, some other people (team leaders and recruiters) called each of the candidates to an individual interview.
