I had to go through six interviews over a course of three months, twice with the same exact hiring manager, for what was basically a receptionist position. The process was so drawn out, every single interview was the most basic and introductory questions that I had answered the time before. The recruiter was very nice and communicative, but you could tell that the rest of the people involved were very disorganized. My fifth interview was with an executive assistant of an entirely different department that knew nothing about the role I was interviewing for. At first, I was told they wanted to make a hiring decision quickly which was clearly not the case. After all of that, they ended up going with someone else. Such a waste of time, and the company just had massive layoffs. I feel bad for the recruiter because she was obviously wanting to move forward at a faster pace, but the hiring manager and rest of the team had no clue what was happening.
