I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Boffo Properties (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was unnecessarily long and tedious, it was 6 rounds in total for a low wage job. The company has serious trust issues since it's a family ran business and needs daddy's approval. They comment a lot on how they're like a family, which sends red flags through the roof. Also I think a lot of their questions were round about ways, in determining if I'm planning on starting a family, how old I was, my martial status as someone in the company went on mat leave and never returned...which left them feeling "burned". This company does not do things by the book, they wanted me to do a physical hand written note that would be sent out a client. Hand written note what is this the 1900s? It's like they wanted to check if I am physically capable of writing a document on the spot, grammatical errors, etc. very odd.
I applied online. I interviewed at Boffo Properties in Jan 2018
Interview
Interview process was straightforward, met with the director of marketing who was very friendly and explained a lot about the company. I felt at ease and confident. Interviewer was respectful of my time and thanked me for being there.
