Had sent in a resume and got a phone screening call within about two weeks. Talked to head of development and which went well enough that an in-person interview was scheduled. Four people in my interview loop. That's when things got a little odd. Two people (including lead developer) seemed on the ball, engaging, etc. The other two, you could tell, had no interest in interviewing and just didn't want to have to spend the time.
Company apparently was about 60 people awhile ago and now is down to around 20. It's been around for several years and seems to be trying re-invent itself with a new version of its product. Not really a 'go-go' organization. It seemed to me to be a 'living dead' type company. Product is actually somewhat boring. Seems to be an ok place to work if you're unemployed and need a job but not the 'silicon valley' type of exciting software surrounded with energized people.
Oddly, I never heard from them (either yes or no) after the in-person interview. No contact at all. I hope they treat their customers better than their applicants.
