Initial screening was thorough and as expected - questions off a list. The recruiter did a good job of getting everything scheduled in a timely manner as well which was appreciated.
Second interview was a video meeting with the Director of People Operations. The interview felt more like another screening with pretty much the same questions as opposed to an actual conversation. I left the interview feeling not only like I had just repeated myself, but that no one on the other side of the line was actually listening to / digesting my answers.
Ultimately, this company is very young. The Director of People Operations has less than a year of recruiting / HR experience. I wouldn't go into these interviews expecting much but on the bright side it seems like they are open to feedback - always a good sign.
