It was pathetic. First of all there was no process. HR just shared the assignment on one fine Friday late evening and expected solution by weekend, no matter whether the candidate would have personal life or not. Least bothered about explaining about the role and candidate's interest, directly jumped on the assignment. A team of 5 members sat and discussed random things. None of them have the idea about the assignment task or the solution. No one was interested in past work. Whatever is required for the role, they asked questions. It doesn't matter how knowledgeable a designer is and how he can adapt to new challenges. If a designer is readily available in the market to fit their requirements, they are happy.
