First step in the interview process was a phone call with the recruiter followed by a longer conversation with the hiring manager of the team around a week or so later.
pretty straight forward; you can asked them explanations on the questions they asked. I would recommend you to arrive at least 15 mins prior to the interview since they do notice it.
The initial call with the recruiter was interesting as it seemed the recruiter was reading right off a script of what the company does. Each time she would read off a new area of Block’s business, there was an awkward pause and silence as she moved onto the next area. It was clear she didn’t have any idea of what Block did by the awkward silences and reading straight off the website. It was very concerning. Pass here.

3. SQL Test 30min using codepad
4. Onsite Virtual interview with 5 people, each 30min or 1 hour, exercises of calculating important metrics
