I thought it was a little weird when I got an email from a company (Raven CT) I did not remember applying to (I had applied to blitz because the job description seemed like what I was looking for) telling me they liked my application and they wanted me to come in for a first round interview. I went for this interview and it was like 10 minutes of me sitting with another candidate being told what the company was. How they started in California blah blah blah. I was then told I would be contacted later in the day on whether or not I would be moving on to the second round, which I did. The next morning (which is the only time they'd let me come in for the interview), there were about 25 people all waiting for interviews. We ended up splitting into groups of two and going to different locations to find out that they wanted us to go the westfarms mall to try to sell people xfinity and that we would be given $50 base pay for each of the 6 10-12 hour days a week they wanted us to work. An internship should not include me harassing people for less than half of minimum wage. Something else I found weird was how the company info book I was shown had the Blitz logo on it, even though the interview was for Raven. After the interview we had to fill out a "quiz" about the company and the talk to the "hiring manager". I decided to look into the Blitz when I got back because I was curious why they were going by two different names just to find everyone talking about what a scam Blitz is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME like I did. I had to take time off class, and commute over 3 hours for this and it is time I will never get back. I'm writing this to warn other people who didn't realize the companies are related. RAVEN GROUP/ RAVEN CT is a scam, and so is BLITZ, don't be fooled by their professional manner.
