I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Blacktip (Altamonte Springs, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Initial 1 hour interview. Scheduled for a 4 hour on site interview but asked to have another call with the owner before coming in. Spoke with the owner for 45 mins the day before. The next day I spent 1.5 hours at the office being asked questions. After speaking to 3 people (there are only 6 employees - including the owner and his wife / daughter) the owner came in and Abruptly asked me to leave because it wouldn’t be a cultural fit. When I asked for additional feedback I was told my answers were circumventing their questions and that if I don’t know something I should just say so, rather than speaking to the topic and my experience with it.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Blacktip (Altamonte Springs, FL) in Jan 2020
Interview
Interview process was straightforward and full of promises that were never delivered on. The presented job was not as advertised, nor the office or work environment. The congenial, friendly attitude shown in interviews is an absolute facade, and will only be seen from then on as constant, weak apologetics for the latest meltdown the “ceo” had that day.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Blacktip (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2020
Interview
Received an email wanting to setup a call. Call was scheduled and was with the CEO and lasted about a half-hour. Another half-hour call was scheduled to discuss technical abilities. It started out alright, then the questions started getting more and more difficult/niche and a lot seem to focus on networking.
