Interview seemed to back up some of the negative reviews found on here regarding the dichotomy of words and actions not lining up.
I spent over 3 hours across multiple interviews only to be ghosted after being told by the CEO that he was "really looking forward to a follow up". Because the only feedback I got pertained to the first interview I had (not the 2nd or 3rd), I can only speculate as to what the reasons were for not closing out the process with me, but I had expressed an interest in speaking to more people in the company to get a feel for what life would be like in the company - and maybe they are looking for blind trust. Based on the negative reviews, I wanted to ensure I wasn't putting myself in a bad position switching from the job I currently hold making the same amount of money as they offered but with a lot less structure. After all, what they need in the role I applied for is stability and someone willing to make a long-term investment in that company.
Overall, I really enjoyed the conversations with the few people I met, but I don't get the feeling they will attract, or are prepared to work with, serious professionals who will have high expectations and want to question the way things are done in an effort to support the growth of the business.
I was happy to have the interview experience, and hopefully helped them realize what they are looking for in their ideal candidate. I just wish they had given me the courtesy of following through on their words or at least responding to my followup emails.
