I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bitwarden (London, England) in Feb 2024
Interview
So, I had this interview with Bitwarden recently, and it wasn't exactly a walk in the park. The manager seemed totally checked out, showing up late and yawning through the whole thing. It definitely didn't leave a great first impression.
The questions he asked were pretty basic, nothing too exciting. And he didn't have anything positive to say about the company, which was a bit of a downer. It felt like he was either trying to scare people off or struggling to sell the company.
But here's the kicker—the KPIs he talked about were insane. Like, 50-70 calls and 200 emails a day? That's a lot to handle. And when I asked if those emails should be more personal or automated, he couldn't give a straight answer.
What really got to me was when I asked about contributing beyond the role. He basically shut that down, saying SDRs should just stick to their job and nothing else. It felt pretty limiting.
Overall, it wasn't the best interview experience. Bitwarden might not be the right fit if you're looking for a company that values a more relaxed and collaborative culture.
