I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Billtrust in Jun 2023
Easy interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Billtrust in Sept 2020
Interview
Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
The final round of interviews takes 4.5 hours via zoom (5 30 min interviews with 30 mins between each). Towards the end of this marathon, one of my interviewers called in to the meeting rather than video, gave one word answers to all my questions, and ended the 30 minute interview after just 12 mins. At the end he assured me his input wasn't relevant in the hiring process... Never witnessed anything like it.
I'm glad I learned this is how they operate upfront, rather than while working for them though.
Interview itself was basic.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you caused a problem with a client and how you resolved it.
Scheduled an interview. Recruiter ghosted the time period we scheduled then emailed me to tell me "she had one break, and meetings snowballed." Absolutely the most unprofessional experience I have ever had.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Billtrust in May 2022
Interview
I was recruited from LinkedIn and never told the extent of the interview process. Everybody kept telling me there was one more call. The process was a total of four phone calls, five zoom interviews, and a practice assignment and probably about 8 hours in total.
Compensation was 53k/year plus commission.
