1 Zoom call with the BenchPrep recruiter. Before my call, I was asked to complete a word doc with questions and upload it to the drive. The questions were very odd and seemed like they didn't review my resume whatsoever. One question even asked, "If you are unemployed, share why you left your last position." This felt a bit inappropriate to me and quite biased. The recruiter really focused on why I wasn't employed and seemed turned off that I had been a part of mass layoffs. The interviewer didn't seem very interested in talking to me and asked all the typical screening questions. I was quite a bit overqualified for the position but was interested in learning more about the role and the company since I have both EdTech and HRTech experience. I didn't think I would move forward because of my extensive experience, and I was correct. I received a very generic, canned rejection email. Overall, I did not like the interview and how 'forced' it felt and wouldn't recommend BenchPrep based on the one call.
