I just finished the second interview, which was the take-home test. It was an interesting problem to solve in Cpp. The first interview was just a simple talk with the director because he wanted to understand the applicant better. The third is 3 hour long onsite interview

Question 1
What is bundle adjustment in theory and have you had experience with calibration?
30 min recruiter phone call, followed by 30 mins on Zoom with the Field Engineer Manager, then an hour with their manager.
After that recruiter went over benefits and work culture with me in another call and things looked to be progressing, but the CEO was out of the country and they had to wait for them to return to make the final decision.
I kept in touch after that, but then the holidays happened and when I reached out again afterwards, the recruiter had gone on leave without any warning. Their colleague covering for them never ended up updating me as promised and I took a position elsewhere.
I went through a total of five interviews, beginning with a recruiter screen and advancing to a final round. Two of the interviews were scheduled back-to-back as a combined round. There was also a notable gap of nearly two weeks between rounds with no communication, even after I followed up multiple times.
The role was advertised as remote, but during the recruiter interview I learned it was actually fully in office. The recruiter also mentioned the position had been posted for nearly a year, which raised questions about how accurately the role had been represented from the start.
