I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Beacon Marketing Group (Yonkers, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
I saw the position online for a marketing and public relations assistant - a position perfect for my skill set and experience. I applied and had a lot of positive, upbeat communication. I went to the interview in this non-descript office (definitely didn't seem to be their "real" office, more like a rental space to conduct these scam interviews) and met with an account manager. He was nice and asked about my experience but then tells me in the interview that the position I applied for and was under the guise of interviewing for was a position that I had to actually work my way up towards. It was a bait and switch interview where they loop you in thinking it's a position you're actually qualified for and want but really it's just to get lemmings in the door to do the grunt work. STAY AWAY.

Question 1
Which position do you see yourself in at Beacon Marketing Group?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Beacon Marketing Group
Interview
Very vague on the day to day responsibilities which made me uncomfortable. I worked a door-to-door job before and this interview gave me the same kind of vibe. I got a call to schedule a second interview but I turned it down.

I applied online. I interviewed at Beacon Marketing Group (Stratford, CT)
Interview
The headquarters is in Yonkers, has a contemporary look and feel. The interview lasted about 20 mins. They asked simple questions & explained the process of how you move up within the company and the starting pay. At the end they said they'll contact me to set up a second interview with a field agent.
