I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Battlefy (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2024
Interview
Met with HR staff for an hour remotely. HR was nearly 10 minutes late. They struggled to describe the role and didn't know basic information about it. They spoke in a rambling stream of consciousness style and gave generally unhelpful responses. Despite their talking at length in response to my questions, I somehow still managed to learn very little about the job or team it was a part of. Did not create much confidence that this was actually a legitimate company or position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They seemed transparently to be fishing for knowledge about what an implementation specialist does and how somebody in this role can contribute. This felt less like an interview and more like an attempt to use my experience as a way to figure out their own business.
They are interviewing candidates for positions that are:
1) Not yet required
2) With no job description
They just want you on the bench so when the time comes they'll call you

Experience, expectations, and just regular chat, nothign specific about the role
