I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Dublin, Dublin) in Jul 2015
Interview
Phone screening initially. On site review of Python data structures and some basic SQL questions. Some other general programming questions, plus a brief second round interview involving solving a simple programming exercise. Be aware a background check will be carried out and you can't have worked for another bank for the previous 3 years.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2025
Interview
We started with a quick introduction, followed by questions on Python skills and a SQL question. The final task involved completing a Python coding challenge.I feel confident about the Python-related questions, especially the coding exercise, which went smoothly. However, I did get slightly stuck on the SQL question, particularly with the syntax and grammar.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2024
Interview
They judge me with 2 python questions. 1.) list manipulation and 2.) string manipulation. I was able to give the answers they the interviewer needed but they said I don't have enough python experience. damn! First of all, you don't memorize all the syntax in a programming language and let's be real here. You don't know the syntax but you know it's possible.
