I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Amazing benefits and programs available you employees. Lots of employee networks and community volunteer programs so you can feel highly engaged internally and externally. Lots of resources for professional development as well. There is also a plethora of job opportunities and locations to move around.

    Cons

As a big company some policies become very wide in scope which removes some individuality to them for some flexibility, such as work from home or work location.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

A company that really cares for its employees. During COVID, the CEO announced that there will be no layoffs which is a great relief to the employees. A lot of focus on learning and training. Very good in terms of work-life balance. Cabs are avaiable every 1 hr most of the day.

    Cons

Slow in terms of adoption of latest technology.

I have been working at Bank of America part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great pay and great benefits, including pay for child care.

    Cons

My particular branch manager would often lose her temper and verbally abuse her employees. It made for a very stressful work environment. Market leader always believes her side of the story, so there’s nothing you can do about it.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The bank has good leaders/mentors who will invest time in developing eager and talented associates at all levels. Training is and leadership development does really exist here. A work/life balance is encouraged, but you must set the boundaries for what works best for your lifestyle. There is opportunity to transfer experience from one department to another and often times leaders who have previously worked with you will request to bring you along if you demonstrate great work ethics and deliver.

    Cons

There were several acquisitions that came with leaders that don't share similar integrity or work ethics. There may be times of uncertainty because decisions to downsize cannot openly be shared at all levels. There are times when you may receive a higher annual bonus instead of the appropriate increase in salary that is commensurate with your contributions.
