I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Washington, DC) in Jan 2016
Interview
After submitting a revenue and cover letter, applicants selected for an initial case interview, which consisted of 2 30-minute cases administered by post-MBA consultants. Initial case interviews structured similarly to those offered by other management consulting firms. If selected to continue beyond that point, final round interviews take the form of 2 45-minute interviews with Bain Partners, consisting of 30 minute case interviews and 15 minute behavioral interviews.

Question 1
What is the total amount of money spend annually in the United States on rental car GPS systems?
Interviewers were really nice, but the process was difficult. Standard level cases and they expected you to take them through multiple business problems. If you practice casing frequently with multiple partners, you should be fine.

Question 1
Please walk me through how you would approach this case.
2 cases for R1. Pretty straightforward cases about revenue optimization opportunities. There was a little bit of market sizing but all data needed was given. No behaviorals asked in round 1 for me.
