Backbase Senior Systems Engineer interview questions

I recently interviewed with Backbase for a Senior System Engineer position, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The interview was rescheduled twice due to the interviewer not joining on time. When it finally happened, the interviewer joined late and asked questions that were not at all relevant to the senior-level role I applied for. As someone currently working in a well-established MNC, I expect clarity on role expectations—however, the questions felt more aligned with a generalist or startup-level profile, lacking depth or alignment with the responsibilities of a Senior Engineer. Overall, it felt disorganized and unprofessional. It seemed like the interviewer wasn’t prepared or aware of my background. Disappointing and not worth the time invested.
