I was introduced to the company by a recruitment company for the position of Head of Sales Active Intelligence division. I had an interview for the with the hiring manager. Following that, I had an on-site meeting with the hiring manager and his manager, during which I presented my 30, 60, 90-day plan and a customer sales pitch. Subsequently, I had three other interviews with team members and a Presales representative. However, during the meetings with the hiring manager and his manager, I noticed signs of bullying and disrespectful behavior from the senior manager. Additionally, there were discrepancies in the information provided by the team members, such as using Salesforce as their CRM while the sales team claimed to use spreadsheets. What ultimately clinched my decision not to proceed was the answer to a question about how to repeat sales to a customer. The sales team struggled to provide a coherent answer, with one member admitting that it was nearly impossible, which raised concerns for me. Based on these observations and experiences, I decided not to pursue the opportunity further.
