The interview process at Averi was one of the most thoughtful and well-organized I’ve experienced. It started with a casual intro call, followed by a hands-on, gamified code review challenge through Cook’d, a refreshing alternative to traditional whiteboard tests. From there, I had a system design round where I was encouraged to think deeply and explain trade-offs, followed by a final call with senior team members focused on product understanding and technical depth.
Everyone I interacted with — from Alix to the engineers — was incredibly kind, communicative, and respectful. Even though I wasn’t selected in the end, I walked away with a lot of respect for the company, the mission, and the people.
