The interview process for this role was particularly quick - I submitted a resume through a friend, and within a week had 2 phone screens. I spoke with both the CEO and the Head of Operations for about 45mins - 1hour each. The conversations were relaxed and gave me a good sense of the business, while also providing them a general sense of my background and abilities.
The onsite was scheduled just a week after, and I was very impressed with the level of thoughtfulness and care that was apparent in each of the 1:1 sessions. Each interviewer went in depth on different areas of expertise to really get a sense of my skill set — content & lifecycle, business problem solving, email domain knowledge, and even analytics (first time I've been asked to do mental math on email metrics in an interview). They also invited me to join the whole company for lunch, which presented a casual opportunity to interact with other team members and see the company culture.
Compared to my last interview with a startup which was rushed, and the hiring manager had 0 questions for me during the onsite 1:1 portion (there was a group case study portion at the start), this was night and day—really felt like they wanted to ensure a great fit on both sides.
