I regret to report an unprofessional experience with my recruiter, during my recent interview process:
1. She joined our initial call late, stating she had "completely forgotten" about our scheduled interview.
2. Later on, after my interview with the hiring manager, I waited over three weeks without updates, despite multiple follow-ups to hear back from her.
3. When I finally received a response, she asked if I had interviewed with the panel yet. I had to inform her that no such interview had been scheduled.
4. She then attributed the delay to the hiring manager interviewing numerous candidates, rather than acknowledging her own lack of follow-through.
5. The next day, I received a rejection email from her stating " Hiring manager has couple strong internals that she feels are a strong fit for the role".
This process was highly disappointing and inefficient. You make a candidate wait for over 22 days, just to receive feedback from the hiring manager's round. The lack of organization, follow-up, and transparency in this hiring process reflects poorly on the company and its recruitment practices.
