I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AutoUncle in Apr 2025
Interview
I had two interviews as part of the process at AutoUncle - one with HR and one with the hiring manager. Both conversations were very friendly and informal, which helped ease any interview anxiety and made the experience feel more like a genuine dialogue than a traditional interview.
The overall tone was open and respectful, and I appreciated how both interviewers took the time to explain the role and the company's culture in detail. They asked thoughtful questions and created space for me to ask mine as well.
That said, the scheduling was a bit drawn out due to holiday periods, which caused some delays and slight confusion around timelines. While the process could have been a bit more streamlined, the communication remained courteous throughout.
Overall, it was a positive experience, and I appreciated the human approach to interviewing.

Question 1
One key thing they focused on was how I approach conflicts and collaborate with teammates. It was clear from the beginning that they were not only assessing skills, but also looking closely at cultural fit and how well I would integrate into their team dynamic.
