I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Austin Sunshine Camps (Austin, TX)
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews with lots of delayed communication during each round. There was an email with a list of questions to respond to by the next day, a phone screening, then I was asked to provide a sales plan for the Lodge, and then finally moved on for the in-person interview. The initial questions asked via email were very in depth and I walked on the line of not giving away too much information before being hired.
After the in-person interview, I had a very real concern about my quality of life should I take this position I was interviewing for. I quickly realized that the job entailed more than they know they needed and were able to pay. The reality was they needed someone to recreate their website, handle their events, handle their marketing, sometimes stay on-site overnight for their events, etc. In addition, they did not have a budget for those events, advertising, or print costs. I wish them luck as I think they are a great foundation. It took 2.5 months though for me to figure out the job would not be a good fit for me.
