I'm a General Assembly alumni and filled out a referral for this program, so I may have had an easier time than applying externally. The interview process was fairly short and quick. A brief description of why I wanted to work at Audioeye and why I'd be a good fit(coding for Accessibility is such a nuanced and seldom taught skill, and it would be a great challenge and fit with my worldview of doing some good for people. I'm also a big fan of, and quite good at, fixing bugs). After the screener I had a virtual interview where a few questions were asked(culture fit) and then a simple coding challenge where the interviewer was very welcoming and if I had any questions or needed some assistance to almost treat her like googling something. Challenge questions were mainly accessing the DOM and manipulating code like adding a role to a div if its empty.
