Audible Associate Manager- Content Services interview questions

After a month, I was contacted by HR via email for a phone interview. Had an interview scheduled within the hour for later that week. The phone interview was scheduled for 45 minutes and ran for about an hour. Afterwards, I was scheduled for an in office interview. I was told these would last for a 1/2 day though it actually ended up being the entire day. Met with 6 people with a 30 minute lunch break. The quality of the interviewers varied: some were quite good and others just read from the script. It was hard to find a groove as they all had assigned parts, which made establishing a rapport difficult. The final discussion was for benefits and compensation. They promised to follow up in 2 business days. After 3 business days I sent an inquiry to their HR department. After 5 business days received a generic rejection. My feeling is that despite their promise to let me know either way (by phone) I never would have heard from them without a prompting.
