Recently went for an interview with AHL for the Senior Project Manager, Facilities Management role. Been over 10 years since I looked for new opportunity so sharing my experience here.
Was first contacted via WhatsApp by the HR Manager confirming receipt of my resume and followed by a phone call to discuss about the role. Been in the engineering field for over 20 years and impressed by the HR Manager technical knowledge of the FM role. Honestly, I find this reach out approach better as compared to unexpected cold calls from recruiter.
The interview is conducted by the FM Director, HR Director and HR Manager and was asked to complete a written assignment onsite to assess my technical knowledge. The interview was technical, FM focused and situational questions was asked about stakeholder management given the close working relation internally and stat boards etc.
Overall, I felt the interview well conducted, relevant and appreciate the no time waste conversation. Find this interview a great opportunity to refresh my interview skills to prepare for future opportunities.
