I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Applied Intuition (Mountain View, CA) in May 2025
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn. The first round was a straightforward behavioural interview with basic questions about my background and experience. The second round was a technical phone screening that involved solving a LeetCode hard-level question in a typical FAANG style format. I was expected to first discuss the brute-force approach and then work toward an optimal solution. The code needed to be written correctly, with no bugs. The interviewer was patient and provided several helpful hints to guide me toward the correct answer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself and why are you looking to leave your current position?
The process started with a behavioral recruiter screen focused on my background, interest in the company, and general fit for the role. After that, I had a technical interview on CoderPad involving reading data from an API and working with nested JSON. The problem started straightforward and then added follow-up requirements, including finding the maximum velocity and maximum range from the returned data.

Question 1
1 leetcode medium/hard question in each 45-minute coding rounds with follow-up. The hiring manager round is very weird and I was asked what I liked and don’t like about each internship.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Intuition in Mar 2026
Interview
Recruiter screening lasted around 30 minutes, followed by a C++ coding interview. The coding round was challenging, and I could not fully complete the problem. Did not move forward afterward.
