We always aim to treat all candidates fairly and with respect regardless of the outcome of the interview process. One of core values as a company is "Winning Ethically with Integrity". Like all of our values, this permeates every aspect of our business and informs our day-to-day decisions.
To directly address you concerns regarding the reimbursement process, we do have a formal process for all candidate travel and expenses. First, all flights and hotels are booked on the candidates' behalf by our amazing coordination team. This ensures the candidate does not accrue the large cost of a hotel and flights out of pocket. Other expenses like meals and taxis/Ubers/Lyfts are processed as soon as the candidate supplies receipts. This reimbursement typically takes 3-4 weeks to hit your bank account.
Sometimes delays in this process can happen when there is a miscommunication of our formal policy. It seems that was the case here. We have spoken with our entire talent team to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding communicating and honoring our formal candidate reimbursement process. We definitely do not want any instance like this to take place again.
