I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Apollo Consulting Group (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was a group interview with the hiring manager, me, and two other applicants. The manager said he wanted to do a quick prescreening with all of us and then he'd call us individually later the same day about a second, more serious interview.

Question 1
Manager: We don't use indirect marketing, we use a direct approach. Is that ok?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Apollo Consulting Group (Seattle, WA) in May 2024
Interview
First round was a group interview on Zoom. Very few questions asked. Interviewer said that more information would be given if we made it to the secibd round. Recieved an email later in tbe day saying I made it to the second round… on a holiday. Did some research and realized this would be selling Verizon at Costco… nit what I wanted so cancelled.

Question 1
Are you ok with a background check and drug screen?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Apollo Consulting Group in Mar 2024
Interview
The job description itself is misleading. They have mentioned marketing job, but it is sales based and the salary is based on the sales you do a particular week. The only client they have is Verizon and interviewers cannot stop talking about them and praising them. And of-course that makes sense when you have only a client.
I had two rounds. In the first introductory interview I was asked what is direct and indirect marketing. That is the only question I was asked and got qualified for 2nd round.
In the 2nd round I was asked questions like
1) introduce yourself (could clearly see that the interviewer is not at all interested in listening to the answer I was telling).
2) What are your personal goals.
3) followed by chatting all about Verizon, bit here and there (useless conversation).
Then I was told the salary :
Entry level - $62000 (2-3 weeks) - responsible for sales and marketing strategies
Account manager - (4-8 months) - responsible for growing team
Account assistant manager (4-6 months) - responsible for managing office
Director of operation - $374400 - responsible for conducting meeting calls. They also say that see in a year you will be learning so much. The average time in the US for reaching higher management level is 10-15 years and they do it in a year (totally shady job).
They also have 6 days work policy and strict hours. I am an international student and I was expecting proper procedures like verification and authorization to work but I didn't even receive an offer letter. I only got a call that reach office by this date to start the work.
