      Human Resources Manager Interview

      16 Nov 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Lancaster, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Angus Fire (Lancaster, England) in Jul 2016

      Interview

One : One interview. Competency based questions. Not particularly hard. Interviewer was pleasant. Seemed to have some unrealistic expectations regarding attendance in 2 weeks from the interview to attend a two week handover period. Interviewer explained she was trying to put candidates off the job. She was successful in my case. Felt for a Managerial role, two weeks notice from interview (when a second stage would still be required) was a big ask and reflected a lack of organisation. I called my agency immediately afterwards and said the role was not for me.
