I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amenities (Houston, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
I had a phone screen with the hiring manager who was an engineer on the team talked about the teams the role. The technical portion it was through a third-party interview from Karat. I was asked javascript and react quiz questions. Standard. I was then asked a fairly easy javascript coding questions to validate some passwords. Stuff like string manipulation, knowing regex (helpful), freq counter pattern, basic loops and arrays. I was pretty nervous, and cracked under pressure and couldn't think and took me 20 mins to realize I was using a ' > ' operator rather than a ' < '. So safe to say I didn't not move on. But the interview itself wasn't bad, they send you a report afterwards on what you did well and what you could improve and what they suggested to the employer. The coding challenge was pretty easy I just panicked.
