Interview
Application & Recruiter Screen: You apply online or via referral. A recruiter may reach out for an initial call to check fit and explain next steps.
Online Assessment (for many roles): Often includes coding challenges, work style assessments, or situational judgment tests.
Phone/Virtual Interviews: Usually 1–2 technical or behavioral interviews. For technical roles, expect coding questions on data structures and algorithms.
Onsite / Final Loop: 3–5 back-to-back interviews covering coding, system design (for senior roles), and Amazon’s Leadership Principles through behavioral questions.
Debrief & Offer: Interviewers submit feedback, the hiring manager makes a decision, and if successful, you get an offer.
Interview was conducted well. Questions were fair, just wasn't prepared well enough. Brush up on your data structures and basic algorithms. The programming language used doesn't matter. Prepare past experiences stories beforehand so you are ready when asked about an experience.
