The AWS Technical Support Engineer interview process typically begins with an online application followed by an initial recruiter screening to assess your background and interest. If shortlisted, you'll proceed to a technical phone interview focusing on troubleshooting, Linux/Windows systems, networking, and AWS services. Successful candidates are then invited to a virtual or onsite loop, which includes multiple interviews assessing problem-solving skills, customer obsession, and technical depth through scenario-based questions. You may also be given a technical assessment or written exercise to evaluate your communication and analytical skills. The final decision is based on overall performance, alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles, and team fit.
