I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services
Interview
Online assessment, phone/online interview, final round multi person online interviews in one day 5+ interviews. Interviews are behavioral based on their leadership principals and should be answered using STAR format. They provide a description of what the process will be and allow optional recruiter info session before the final round to ask questions and get information on the process. Since it's very prescribed and standardized questions you may have to come up with a situation to fit the ask even if it doesn't seem directly applicable if you didn't have a job of the same type (lateral hire).

Interview
It takes about one hour, the process was ok, but the lady who interviewed me not the hire manager for the position I applied, which was strange. She was nice though.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Arlington, VA) in Mar 2026
Interview
I passed my phone screen and I am prepping for Loop round. They asked 3 questions in total. It was a good experience. I would say focus on two things - very specific answer with metrics and be ready for followup questions.
