I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services in Jul 2022
Interview
Overall the process was very disorganised and chaotic.
After applying online, I was contacted by a recruiter who explained the upcoming process to me with consists of in total 7 different rounds!
Then I had to provide dates & times for interviews.
These were rejected and I had to provide them again.
Despite a large range of dates & times, they were rejected once again and I had to yet again go through the process.
By now, several weeks had passed and I had dealt with 3 different recruiters.
By this stage I really had a bad impression of them and believe that the process actually drives away talented people who can find a new position much easier.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions depend on the area, but tend to me software architectural in general but quite technical.
Seemed too technical for the role advertised.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Technical questions are expected, but be prepared as the process has changed, and now they ask about Nvidia arch, and INtel arm based arch too which was not expected as per their previous records but yes now they include it.
I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (London, England)
Interview
Tough 5 stage loop, but the key is if you find you are enjoying the 5 back to back 45min interviews, you’ll probably fit in. All about Earn Trust and Customer Obsession
5 panel round interview, breadth across cloud computing concepts. if for a domain then can be very specific. these roles vary very much so it really depends on the team on the kind of work you do, but you have the same interview process regardless usually, except for the hiring manager expectations per role
