I interviewed at Alternative Path (Gurgaon, Haryana)
Interview
A total of 5 rounds of interview. (Client side included). These were mostly technical. The last round was technical as well as HR round. Need to be good with the technical knowledge to get through.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Alternative Path
Interview
There were two interview rounds. The first with one of their business stakeholders, went fairly well. The second round was with the CEO and a co-founder — while the conversation was fine, they came across as quite rigid and not particularly open to feedback or alternative perspectives.
Interestingly, after the interviews, they kept me on hold for nearly a month citing ongoing interviews with other candidates. Eventually, they reached out to say I’d been shortlisted and asked for my payslips to proceed with the offer. However, post that, there was no further communication, which I found to be highly unprofessional.
As a startup, they don’t appear to have prioritised building an inclusive culture or delivering a positive candidate experience. Their lack of market recognition means they would benefit from stronger employer branding and transparent communication to attract talent, relying on aggressive selling tactics rather than remaining unresponsive and displaying an unprofessional attitude.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Alternative Path (Gurgaon, Haryana) in May 2025
Interview
I completed the HR screening (call) and one round of technical interview with Alternative Path. The HR representative followed up regularly until I completed the interview, but afterward, she stopped responding to any of my follow-up emails or messages. I was completely ghosted. This experience felt very unprofessional, both in terms of communication and process. I was simply looking for some form of closure, even if I wasn’t selected. It’s disappointing that they didn’t have the courtesy to respond at all.
