The interview process started off by an online application of submitting a resume. I was contacted by HR to do a phone screen who was friendly. She responded shortly after to set up an in-person interview with the Manager of Inside Sales.
I found the in-person interview to be formatted quite strangely. Started off with the typical behaviourals, tell me about your story, walk me through your resume, describe a challenge you've faced, etc. However, the interview then turned into a mock sales pitch and a long list of hypotheticals about how I would approach selling Vision Critical to my favourite restaurant, how I would approach 10 CEO's in 5 days. It felt like a pop-quiz and although the interviewer said there was no right answer, his responses pushed for a specific answer. Questions were open-ended and too hypothetical in my opinion given that the interviewer gave no context of any situations he was asking about. I felt the questions were not relevant for this role which was described as entry level.
