There were two high level professionals conducting the interview. I must say, both were highly unprofessional. Hiring manager was 30 minutes late, and to top it off, HR had scheduled the interview an hour earlier by mistake. I only found out when I arrived and had to wait outside for an hour. In total, I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Now, the hiring manager didn't seem to know how to conduct the interview or what questions to ask. His questions included inquiring about my former boss's designation, to whom he reported, and who his boss was, as well as where the CEO fits into the hierarchy. He also questioned my experience, which is 17 years old, and asked why I left London and why I resigned without securing another job.
Second professional surprised me when I inquired about the organization's culture and work environment; his response was, "What do you mean? I don't understand." Overall, it seems like a collection of unprofessional behavior rather than a structured interview process.
