I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Airtasker (Sydney) in Oct 2025
Interview
It was quite conversational and casual but they will dig deeper on the example/s you provide. They focus a lot on success metrics and thought process behind your decision making
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Airtasker (Sydney)
Interview
Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
I was headhunted for this position by a recruitment company they work with.
Was interviewed by their head of HR. Nice guy with a hint of narcissism who was painting a picture of airtasker as this Silicon Valley top tech place with lots of cool and hipster tones.
I was told the challenge is to prepare this strategy ppt answering about 15 questions and to spend on each 2-3 hrs. 30-45 hrs of work.
I thought it's a cool challenge and did that as found the challenge interesting, only to learn much later that they offered the role to someone a day after my initial interview. Noone ever looked at the gslides I ve done. Very disrespectful to my time. They promised feedback multiple times. It has been several months now.
Since then I was offered a job at an awesome company for 50k more than they offered w great and flex culture so can't complain too much.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions around airtasker capabilities and features. Strategy, recommendations for roadmap and reasoning why. Some logical q around who to target for email campaigns. Some wishy washy ones about what other ppl disagree with you you think it's right. apparently they love answers like "freedom of choice" and similar.
