I applied via Indeed in late June 2022, but the job was also later posted on LinkedIn. Got contacted soon after for an initial interview by customer success manager. Nice guy, everything went fairly well. I was asked some information about my background, if I had any experience working with drones, a little information about what they do, etc... I didn't proceed to the next stage, probably not enough drone experience to be the exact fit they wanted, although the tasks of the job look simple enough, basically all email responding to inquiries and support requests, little to no phone work as they deal with large amount of customers . The next and I think last stage would be talking with the CEO/founder of the company if he liked your resume/notes enough from first interview. Side note...what was interesting was the job was up for months upon months, with 4500 applicants on Indeed alone. I have never seen a posting like it. Airdata is a pretty small company, like 10 employees total, so I'm sure they wanted an amazing qualified fit. I do wonder just how incredibly picky the CEO must have been as there were likely between Indeed and LinkedIn over 5k applicants. Another possibility is they were looking for someone with an incredible drone background and technical support experience but were offering poor compensation, so when they did have someone they wanted that person declined the offer, hence the 3+ months of searching for an employee. I'm sure there were many dozens upon dozens if not hundreds of qualified people throughout thousands of applicants. It looks like the position was eventually filled, so either they found that amazing fit and or upped their offer.
