Initial screen with a leader followed by a couple other short chats. Since they don’t have any recruiters there was no structure or organization to the interview format. All rounds were extremely unprofessional - interviewers were late, not paying attention to my answers, and overall quite rude.
Final round was a take home test / presentation that was not relevant to the supposed seniority of the position at all, which was frankly disappointing considering the initial expectations of the role. Felt like they just wanted to steal my ideas and get free work.
The salary range was also not posted in the job description - it’s illegal in NYC to not share this information publicly, something by which the team seemed unbothered when I raised concerns.
