I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Agorafy (New York, NY) in Jul 2016
Interview
First just they send me a coding challenge to work on. After words, I first meet the CTO who did technical interview. Then they asked me to come again to meet the Lead Tech Engineer. Interview was just a normal backend engineering interview. No, computer science or data structures questions. Just asked PHP, MySql and security questions.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Agorafy (New York, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
Applied online and was contacted for an in person interview.
It seemed like the company wasn't really ready to hire for the role, but rather just surveying applicants. Seemed like they had not really thought about compensation or a road map for their expansion. Sounded like an interesting company that is looking to make a footprint in a very competitive market which would be challenging.

Question 1
Standard questions - nothing outside of the spectrum of the role and applicable work experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Agorafy in Nov 2013
Interview
Saw the ad for the position on Craigslist. Part of the ad indicated that we point out three things wrong with the website and three things good about it. I sent in my response, cover letter and resume. I was emailed back asking to create a mock up of how the website might be better oriented (I have a background in graphic design). Then I was called in for an interview with Richard, the CEO.
The company is tiny! Less than 10 people total working there. The office space is nice but they also rent out parts of their office to other start ups. They had a small kitchen and a ping pong table. My interview with Richard went well. He asked about my education, and asked about my previous work experiences. Based on my experience, he hired me as a Web Content Editor with the desire to have me eventually take over the Social Media Platforms of the company.
The interview was really easy. I was hired on the spot pretty much!
