I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aerotek (Burnaby, BC) in Apr 2011
Interview
While working as a waitress in a restaurant in Burnaby I was approached by the Director inquiring my desire to work in an office environment. At first it seemed a little too good to be true. I called the number he gave to me and it turned out to be a number out of Toronto. I had short call with what turned out to be the Canadian Internal Recruiter who set me up to interview with the senior management team in Burnaby. I interviewed over 5 times and even did a half day interview. (this seemed at the time to be a little overkill). The disappointing part was that I waited over 2 weeks before I finally got a call saying I had the job. I started 2 weeks after that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"What do you want to do with your life?" This was a tough question for a 23 year old that had no idea. They also made me discuss a lot about my prior decision making in University and past jobs. A little frustrating at the time.
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.

Question 1
What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
