I answered an Aerotek ad on Careerbuilder.com that sought a Test Technician. The ad requested I fill out a job application online and call their recruiter. When I called, I could barely converse due to the boiler room noise of other phone conversations. During our phone conversation I began to suspect that the advertised position was just a generic one and not a description of a specific opening. The recruiter invited me in to her office to discuss "several possible position fits", but I declined because I've been down this road before. Taking a bus there would have consumed my entire day and it's likely Aerotek would not have had a suitable position for me.

Telephone interview followed by an office interview from representative, then on site interview by contracting company.
