Accountor Finago interview questions

Wasting time and unprofessional. Went for first interview, they liked me and said next round would be more on HR side. Then in the next round, it was not with HR but with the same interviewer from the first session with a new guy, we talked a lot about the cultures and all and they’re pretty much very direct and honest, and don’t like being lied to, and they were happy with me and even showed me the office location. At the end of the session, they told me by the end of the following week, they will inform me on the offer. Then come the week, suddenly they wanted me to go for another interview but for other project with nothing relevant to the job that I was initially applying for. I was disappointed because how could you say that you’re honest and direct but suddenly went against your words? I felt manipulated and disappointed because I put my efforts and trust in them too much.
