One of the strangest interview processes I’ve experienced. I was invited in for an in-person interview, where I was asked just one question: a general overview of my CV. After that, the interviewer spent around 45 minutes talking to me about the role. No further questions, no real back-and-forth.
They told me why I’d be a great fit, how I could grow into the role, introduced me to the team, and even showed me where I’d be sitting.
I was told to expect an update about a potential offer the following week, as things were moving quickly.
Toward the end of that week, I followed up and was told the process would take another week. The same thing happened the next week.
Now, I’ve heard nothing—no formal rejection, no feedback, nothing at all.
Overall, it was bizarre to be brought in, asked almost no questions, essentially welcomed into the team, and then strung along with vague emails before being ghosted entirely.
