AT&T Inbound Sales Representative interview questions

My bf and I both applied and got interviews for a work from home position called inbound sales. We had to pass an assessment test and then schedule virtual interviews. Mine was at 2:30 pm and his 4:30. I signed on early and then get an email at 2:28 pm saying they basically rescheduled my interview for the next day…my bf had his interview and the guy basically told him “oh we are probably all full so you probably won’t get hired but we’ll interview you anyway” it made things super awkward but he went through with the interview and they said they will let him know if he got the job… very weird experience for the both of us lol
